Hi, to fit 10s on you need to buy some cooper 's' calipers, or some minisport 4 pots, which ever option you go for you are looking at around £200 at least just for the calipers!!
Wouldn't advise grinding the caliper, as if the casing cracks you can say byebye to your breaks, and maybe your mini!
getting the discs is simple, as you can just get some off a metro and get them machined down
Rich.

If you fit S calipers you also need the correct S discs (you can't machine the 8.4s down to 7 inch)
With the alloy 4 pots you can machine down the 8.4s to 7.8 inch to suit.
Don't bother with metro discs.
Also with the 4 pots you need to be carfull which wheels you are going to use. some 10s will not fit, ie 6x10 Mambas will not.
Siggy
