After recently de-arching my Mini, and fitting earlier rear lights, im after something i bit different in the wheel department.

Here is the car in question:

So obviously the colour and styling lend wheel choice in the direction of a retro styling.

I wont be putting arches on it
I wont be putting 13's on it

I will consider changing the front brake set up to accommodate 10's (non of this spacers/massive offset rubbish)
I will also consider 12's

The wheels must give the car a good "stance" as in, wide and squat. (I plan on running it nice and low)
I dont mind the wheels sticking out the body too much, but not so much to attact the eyes of the law.

Here are a few images that i aspire towards.

As far as im aware these are Dunlop d1's...Not sure on the width?

These are apparently 4.5x10 Reverse cooper steel rims...These need arches? how available are they?

What are these? Where can i get them?

Any ideas/input/information or anything welcome.

Sorry for being blunt as well, dont like to waffle on

Even better if someone was good at photoshop.

P.s. I do have a genuine set of 5x12 revo's that needd a full refurb that will most likely been for sale/refurbed and used.

I've just put rose petals on. I had the white cooper s steels on before, neither need arches.

I think these would look great on yours as you run it low and your grey is retro! You will need a brake conversion tho....

You will need different brakes to fit 10's!

Jonny, the colour is Island blue

Yes Alex, they are quite expensive! The MWS version is reasonable though, not sure of the quality though.

The cooper s steelies are about £60 each I think?...

Perhaps revolutions would be the way to go http://www.minispare...s/350/REV03.jpg

I was going to suggest Rose Petals, but someone beat me to it.

10x6 Mamba's? Probably a bit too wide though. Not sure if they make a narrower one.

Reverse Rims are always cool. Or some cool steelies maybe banded? Or some nice 5x10 or 5x12 wellers?

Wheres the best place to get a set of Cooper s Reverse Steel wheels.

The only sell the normal cooper steels on Minispares as far as im aware, and cant find them produced new anywhere.

Looked on ebay but nothing there either.

eBay is your best bet, or the classifieds on here? Not sure if they are sold new I'm sure someone will know.

I personally think the rosepetals would look perfect on your car, it's definately got to be 10" wheels though. The reverse rims would be my second choice for your car over the d1's. Have you thought about the 10" minilites to keep with the styling you currently have?

Evan.

Yeah, i did consider this but i fancy a change of style really, since iv had those minilites on it for coming up to three years now.

Rose Petals would be my first choice as well really if it wasn't for the cost....As im background saving for a new front end, roor respray and rear panel/boot will need some work in a year or two.

Why reverse rims? If you have spaced rear drums and are going to have discs on the front then reverse rims would stick out too far to have no arches on. They are for drum braked minis without spacers as far as I know, so you would need the ones minispares sell I think.
