Ive got a minnow fish carb in excellent condition . and i don't really now much about it other than what is said in the yellow bible.
this is sort of a valuation and information query.
i know there rare but if any body has seen one sell or has sold one any info would be appreciated.
thanks

I'll be interested to see what responses..In the nicest possible way I hope its not valuable because I had one as new on a Mini manifold and when I lost my business premises I weighed it in with other ally!! :'-(( They seemed a good thing being as you never need to get any jets to adjust it.

If you've got the Mini Manifold to go with the carb you might get £150. Also being off a VW it iwll be a downdraft carb, I'm not sure if you can alter the angle of the float so it will fit in a Mini.
There's two on ebay at the moment

How hard would it be hard to change one of the ebay ones to fit a mini?

Personally, I'd stick it on ebay and sell it to a VW owner.
The later SU HIF carbs are at least as good, probably better. They're also much easier to get parts for etc.
Having said that, the Fish carb would look spot-on on a 70s weekend warrior
