my name is Jason, I am from Illinois in united states. I have been working on my car for a little while and final coming down to the final days before completion. A little about my self. I am really into motorcycles and i drag race hayabusa's. The motor that i had in my bike for this race season is a 1397cc fully built put down 212hp on my bike i was running 8.50s on motor. and that is what i am putting in the mini. I put a new motor on my bike for next race season and it has a 65mm turbo on it and is also intercooled. I will be boosting about 38psi on it should go 7.40s. now back to the mini. it has been a tough road to go down to get this car where its at.
specs on it
86 mini
motor is a 1397 busa motor
has zcars kit which i had to mod to get to work in my mini
zcars front subframe
zcars hood
willwood big brake kit
13x7 white mini lites
bmw trunk hinges for the front flip kit

Hey Jason

I like the bike, serious power to weight. Good luck with finishing the build, I look forward to seeing the result.

Thanks everyone The bike is not set up for the street it is a dry block full concrete lol. We really don't dyno the turbo bikes because its hard on them but to get a base tune. At 12psi the bike made 350hp we have standalones to get the rest at the track. For the car I am excited to just drive the car I only got to drive it to put on the trailer and then in the garage next day I tore it apart. And why this project is taking me so long is the kit has been giving me problems. I had to shorten the side bars because they were to long it was setting my back tire into the body had the trailing ARM adjusted all the way in and all. I just think my mini was different then all the other minis. And Sents I did that I am now going to be setting the rear cage up like the old zcars kit to wear I can run what header I want and it will run under motor. Car is in for paint right now and I am looking to have it done but the end of Feb.

I am going with white, everything I own right now is white, and I am big fan of white with white wheels.
