My project thread has gone the same way Just waiting to be able to sort something out for it. Anyway...

I'm really looking forward to seeing this come together, you've got some really neat ideas going in to it. Is the spring popper reset when the door is reclosed?

looks good mate, i did this on my old rs turbo...were you planning on having buttons on the outside? i had them under m3 mirrors and hated them lol... if i were to do it again on my mini tho id put the drivers door linked to a remote alarm and passenger button on a dash or some alarms have 2 or 3 functions

looks like a great project tho

i used ford boot release poppers lol yea the old rs were less reliable than the mini tho

Liking the idea for the doors and bonnet. The front end is really coming along too, keep at it mate.

Nice project. How have you got on with the boot lid mods? Is the Rover 45 center piece plastic or metal & how are you securing it in?
This is another idea for me to think about for my project, I've already decided I wanted a third brake light & hidden way to light the number plate & this is another view of the same problem. I'm liking the door poppers too
