Done some more to the min, partly fitted the rear subframe front mounting
panel to allow fitting of subframe and ligning up of rear mounting repair
panels.

Been out again, fitted the rear boot repair panel, starting to look
better already :D next job is to fit the subframe to locate
rear mounting points and position wheel arches. :dontgetit:

Been out today , done a bit more, boot mainly finished.
welded in o/s wheel arch and replaced part of the boot hinge
panel also gave it a coating of red oxide primer.
I,m not having a bumper so i've removed the mounting flange
at this stage.

hats of to you fella that some amount of welding etc youve gotta do, this was my nightmare of buying a mini and one of the main reasons I went for a fibreglass car.

been out, replaced r/h corner and painted, dosn't look too bad now ! :)

Didn't expect it to be as bad as this myself, wouldn,t have bought it if i had had
a proper look , I should have known better as I have had 3 minis previously. :blush:

to be honest mate you deserve a pat on the back and a standing ovation :)

you're fighting for the mini cause

to be honest i wouldn't of had the bottle to do what you've done and i think i speak for everyone here when i say you've done a fantastic job so far. keep it up, look forward to more installments :D

had to repair it . :)
