[ToM 2012]

right had a couple of hours today got the engine mounted in. just awaiting on drive shafts to be cleaned up and new cv joints on. here is some pictures from getting it in and how it sits for now. comments welcome guys

hi all little update i have been at it since 3 clock till 9 tonight cut me fingers nealy pocked me eye out with the gear selector but its all good and coming along nicely here is the progress..

engine now back on all four wheels with engine and drive shafts all fitted up.



got my chrome blanks and jets in place

fitted mk2 rear lights



got red carpet fitted in with the foot pedals and gear selector


fitted window whiper motor and new bracket

last job of the night got rear bootlid on with catch and number plate but as i lower it down it sitts on the rear bumper and doesnt come all the way down so will have to have a good look at it next time.

That looks great!, as I've said, i love the wheels, i think that the chrome boot hinges are great, too, and i think that the red carpet goes really well with the white paint (bit of interior design there ahaha )

i am stuck on now what color to have my sump guard would anyone have it white the same color as the car so it breaks it up underneath or would you have it gloss black? thanks tom
