just had it out for first time fully legal (only other trip was to MOT station) and getting a hell of a lot of road noise from the passenger air vent. This common n how do i cure?

The pipe for it runs up under the wing - perhaps its catching on summit or just loose and vibrating a lot?

if its a vibrating noise check the bonnet hinge, it was drivin me crazy for weeks until i discovered what it was, as i sounds so close to you and in the car but its just a loose nut, give it a try matey

or if its round noise there should be some foam inside the pipe tube that deadens the noise check to see if u have some, it should line the inside of the pipe
