i prepped my bonnet today ready for paint, but i kept finding blemishes so kept sanding and..well... look!
it shrank! lol nah only jokin, i made a 1/4 scale bonnet ;) hoping to make a complete 1/4 scale mini shell, gonna take a little while, but how the bonnet has turned out, it should be pretty acurate!

its made from 1.2mm steel plate! it still needs a little more prep to get it perfect, but i think if i can make up a front panel, i can manage everything else, the front panel being the most complex to knock together! ill try make another panel tomorrow!

they will be as rust proof as the originals... lol so one day, i might have to do some welding and resto work on it haha! im even considering making it rc ;) should be fun!
today i should be starting the front panel! shouldn't be too difficult if i think of it as a collapsed box, that way i just gotta do a few folds, a few bends and hey presto, a 1/4 scale front panel... (in theory anyways, if it turns out that way is yet to be discovered! lol)
