I always just used the smallest battery I could find - no point lugging extra weight about!

Use the code - Ukpas25 at euro car parts for 25% off the 075 battery i linked to above and get it for £47 for a Bosch, Nice snug fit in the mini battery box - but as said it well be heavier than a standard battery

how often do you use your mini ?

if you use it every day so the battery regularly gets topped up a small one will be fine, if you don't use your mini that often something that holds a bit more charge will be better

I've got a battery which i bought brand new and have never put it in a car. Been in my garage about a year and a half. If i charged it back up do you think it would work or would the polarity etc be out?

For CCA the bigger the better, no point having a lightweight battery unless you are racing, it will make no difference to performance whatsoever!!

(May fall through a rusty battery box quicker though  )

The ones I use have 530 CCA and are, I think, as fitted to a Peugeot diesel. Just measure it and go to a good battery supplier and see what they have that size, with good CCA and the terminals in the correct position.

stick it on a charger and see what happens

but battery's don't like sitting around with no charge in them

hi thanks for the fast reply's guys, i use it everyday usually do minimum in a day about 30 mile, also thanks for the euor parts code. the reason why i was looking for another bosch one that was idnetical was because of the CCA and it is as if its made to fit its so snug in the battery box you couldnt get any closer to all of the sides.

thanks Piers
