Hello i have a problem with my wind-up windows..
I removed the windows in order to paint the doors and i cant make them work again.
Anyone got pictures how all the components are suposed to be?
The 2 moving parts on the mechanism are suposed to go into the channel thats on the window runners. But how thats done?
I am suposed to try to put them while the window is down? I put the moving things into the window runners and then i put the window in the runners?
Please help because i wasted already 4 hours and got most of my hands covered with blood :)

yeah this is a bugger to do!
what i did was put the runners on the windows, then slide it into the door. then with the mechanism loose from the door try and get the arms into the runners. took a while as i think the wheels are sprung loaded, but got there in the end.
just gotta persevere!

This is very, very easy if you do what it says in the manual.
The waist trims have to be off the door as does the mechanism. Slip the drop glass into place and use either wooden wedges or a couple of slings of gaffer tape over the door top to hold it in place at about half way open. Wind the mechanism to the fully down position (wind against the springs). Actually I don't think it matters if you wind down or up, as long as it's at the end of travel. Offer the mechanism to the door opening, you should now find the window runners are at the widest point of the aperture and the lift rollers are as close together as they can get. Slip the rear roller into place, then pull the mechanism back and slip the front roller in. Re-center the mechanism and without moving the glass, wind the mechanism. It will pull itself into the right position. Slip the tab into the door and refit the screws. Remove the tape or wedges and the window will wind properly. Test the range of movement, then refit the waist trims. Remember the mechanism should be sealed to the door with some non-setting sealant.
