Ok so i have recently changed the diff seal and i have also changed the gasket on the diff case...but it still seems to drip a little and i think its coming from where the detent spring / ball sits.
Can this be cured by replacing the O ring?

On that side, I would always replace the o-ring when replacing the gasket. Once you disturb an old o-ring, it's quite likely to leak.
