Hi there guys,

I have a Rover Mini Cooper, with the colour coded dashboard (british racing green) and was looking to change it for the walnut one. Is it easy to change over and are there any guides on this forum how to do so?

Heres a pic of it at the moment.

Thanks,

Ben.

It's actually very easy to change the dashboard.

Have a look in a Haynes Manual (if you don't have one, you'll definitely end up needing one!) and it gives you a step by step guide in there.

Basically, what it involves is unscrewing it from the mounts on the dash rails, unplugging and removing the clocks, radio and other mounted parts, and that's about it.

if the person who fitted it used wing nuts then its a job the requires no tools and fairly straight forward.....hence why most minis have cool custom dashes :D

Section 11B3, Part 19.

It's called a 'Facia' in the Haynes Manual :D
