Well, he has been found innocent. I'll now be expecting him to get the England job after the Euros, which will be good for England but not so much for Spurs.

Apparently the jury accepted that the payment was an investment not a tax dodge. His dog is pretty clever if he can make investments! (For those who don't know, the account in question was set up in the name of his dog?!)

The chairman was also found not guilty.

I don't understand that, whether he saves or spends it is irrelevant. Surely the only question is whether it was income?

I think the jury believed it was an investment for something else, not an investment in Redknapp himself. I'm surprised he got away with it though.

Mk 3, this wasn't the FA, they had no involvement. It was all the CPS making the case in court.

Good for England. The sooner we can get rid of Capello the better. I've always wanted an English, or at least a British manager.

You mean the FA had an influence in him being found not guilty, so that he could still take the England job?

Glad he was found not guilty. More stories are now allowed to be published too.

Mandaric being found not guilty in October along with Peter Storrie.

Bugger being the England manager though, if he doesn't win the World cup regardless of it being a World cup year it's all doom and gloom.
