Rover Mini City 1992
1275 Metro Engine stage 1

I want to fit a ultimate engine steady to the thermostat side of the engine. However, the engine steady I bought does not fit as the heater outlet pipe feeds to the thermostat sandwich plate, which in turn gets in the way of my steady.

Is it possible to change where that pipe goes - or should I spend some money on a steady that is speciffic to the sandwich plate metro thermostat?

I believe that this is the steady I bought (from elsewhere) http://www.minisport.../info_EL58.html

That however clashes with the heater matrix outlet pipe as shown in the pic below:

If I was to fit this - http://www.minispare...id=32760&title= does it look like I have a 'PEQ10019 large bore thermostat housing' fitted?

Problem solved - called Minispares. Turns out I have a thermostat housing that will take the steady above - so waiting on the order now :D
