The mail which was sent -
I made a quick trip to Madrid Spain on a short vacation unfortunately i got mugged at the park of hotel where i stayed, worse of it was that my bags, cash, mobile phone and credit cards were all stolen at GUNPOINT leaving me penniless right now.

It's was a horrible experience for me and i need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is that i still have my passport.I need some cash to settle my bills and get on flight back home. please let me know if you can help.

I'm freaked out at the moment..

I am not sure it would be as easy as that, how would you get it (in an envelope! sent to a hotel).

I am not saying that these internet email frauders/scamers/hackers are the greatest con men ever to live, but i think the story is plausible enough

banks like rbs, Lloyds, Barkley's, NatWest, Yorkshire bank and many others offer a service where if you can prove its you, (security passcode) they can give you a code that you enter into an atm and you can withdraw cash i know because i have done it myself in spain
