Afternoon all
I am thinking of getting shot of the opening side windows when I eventually get round to putting stuff back together Posted Image
Quick question are the fixed side windows a straight replacement for the opening jobs. They appear to be one of the main causes of leaks into the rear sections and I have also discovered some rust now the seals are off. I know there's the argument for more ventilation but I would rather avoid the ingress of water!
My mini is a 1990 and I seen a pair of fixed jobs from a later model, I am assuming the basic shape was never changed Posted Image

I have seen the rubbers listed in some parts catalogues so will source some new ones if I can change the glass
cheers
Glyn
