Though he is talking about replacing the wooden panel strips with something like chrome panels or something? Just to break up the colours and not leave Stitch looking so bare!

Paul Smith Blue - JFL (BLVC1269)
Years: 98-01
Can't help but think Stitch has a purply tinge to his main colour, but PS blue might look a bit too purple in certain lighting.

I am really liking the idea of surf blue up top and henley blue jdp on the bottom half, especially as the surf blue will cover the front end anyway. Not sure my dad is sold as he keeps sending me links to colour swatches but I think I can talk him round!

It was a colour I did originally look at however it does look a little too purple sadly! This is the problem I seem to be having, if its not too light its either too purple or too dark/navy in colour =\ Hmph!

Liking the sound of the different colour panel strips
I just think it needs to be broken up mainly! But I'm a big believer in the idea that there should be no more than 2 different tones on a mini! Otherwise it just looks a bit messy (Paul Smiths Designer obviously gets a get out of jail free card here!)

Won't cost any more as the colours have to be mixed anyway to get what you want, so just take them in a picture of stitch and ask them for that exact colour :)

Just go to a paint shop with a picture, and get it mixed up!

I was tempted to take my big Stitch ted in to them, however bar the belly actually being surf blue, the outer colour is a rather dull greyblue! It's difficult. It's mainly the darker blue colour I'm struggling to find anything I actually like even in drawings, especially that will compliment the surf blue.
