Aye up,
The grommet where the vacuum pipe attaches on my servo has split, does anyone know if it's available?
The only one i could find on minispares was for '92 onwards cars, yet mine is an '89...but it looks the same!
Any ideas?

Yes all direct servos are the same, I guess they have the year wrong. Dammit this grommet was only available in the full rebuild kit for years, I've been on at Simon to get them in seperately and he was going to tell me when they became available! I really need one.

I'd have thought there's a good chance you could pinch one off another car, you might even source it a general engineering item.

I know that metro K series do not fit, however certain "bubble shaped" Rover 200 / 400s do!

I've actually been using the bung from the top of a mini beer keg that we found in Germany, it's more or less exactly the same size and shape except it's grey. It was getting to the point that I was going to have no choice other than to buy the full rebuild set until I took apart the keg one night at the 'ring. I think I'll get the real thing now.
