Does anyone have any links to japanese mini sites?
I saw a couple of pics of some japanese mini's at a meeting in one of the recent magazines with cool looking front scoops under the bumper & wanted to know if we could get them here or import them?
Anyone know where to start looking?

is this the type of thing you're looking for? Have a browse of their website, they have a lot of stuff other mini suppliers don't.

Yeah that's sort of it, but the Jap ones were more subtle. I think it might have been the SPECIAL BODY TUNING TYPE II kit I found on at www.alecmini.co.jp under the Body Parts drop down on the left. That's the sort of thing I was looking for, just have to figure out how to read japanese now!

Here are a few links
http://www.buppu.com/item
http://www.beans-jap...c_mini_top.html
http://www.dinky.co.jp/
http://www.manjiya.co.jp/
http://www.minimaruyama.co.jp/
http://www.garage-grace.com/index.html
http://www.alecmini.co.jp/
http://www.delta-mini.com/
The last one -Delta Mini- will close down at the end of 2012.
As for Japanese, install the Rikaichan plugin for Firefox or Rikaikun plugin for Chrome. Then turn it on and hover over the Japanese. It'll translate the word. Written Japanese use no spaces so sometimes it can't work out that some kanji should go together but it's better than nothing and does quite a good job. Better than cut and paste into an online translator, imo.

Great list & excellent tip, cheers. It's a shame the Alecmini site dont export as I really like their ST-2 front splitter, guess I'll have to have a go at making my own.
