Is anyone knowledgable about the Ford parts needed when installing a megajolt system?

I am wondering if the ford mondeo ignition system is basically the same as the fiesta system.

Mondeo parts are everywhere in NZ, fiesta parts are not.

It really depends on the EDIS unit, the remaing parts are the same.
You will need a very early mondeo EDIS unit - from the first shape, but still no guarantees it will work.

Mondeo isn't listed on the auto sport site as a donor vehicle, only the V6 mondeo but obv that is for 6 cylinder applications.

It says:

Fiesta - 1990 - 1999
Escort - 1990 - 2000
Sierra - 1990 - 1993
Mazda 121 - 1996 - 2001

Maybe you have some of those mazdas over there?

Ill look into it. I think the Mazda 121 is most likely the best option for me.

My spare coil pack and edis unit are off a Mondeo, jsut make sure it's the correct 'EDIS4' unit.
