I can understand that you would want to put your own mark on this car, but to be honest, I think Mr Retro did a top job. It's a lovely vehicle. But if you want to change it in any way that would improve it, I'd go glass black rather than matte. But then it may look a bit too posh?

well that is what i was thinking, a nice gloss black finish or similar,
i have changed it too a centre dial rather than a side dials housed in the center.
i think i might put my 1275gt dials in there, but im not sure HELP

I know I was one of the people telling you to keep the cosmics on, but when I saw it at Bingley it looked b-e-a_utiful :P (much better with the Mambas)

The only thing I would do is give the exhaust a polish, and perhaps take those two spotlights off the front, or change them for circular ones?

thankyou very much :)
i think its better with the mambas as well :)
although i will be re-vamping them :)
im not sold on the lights myself but at the same time, it does make it look a load different to every clubman, as im not a fan of round ones on clubman, but im not sure, i think as i drilled the holes into the paint work i owe it to the car for them to stay for a while :)

looks really nice, if i had to say something on pain of death the only thing i can think of is it might look better with bigger alloys :withstupid:

im not sold on bigger wheels, much nicer to drive on 10's, 13's were really snaky in my opinion

only thing i dont like is the arches are to round, and doesnt look mean like the rest of the car. and the GB headlining (i just dont like it)
BUT... the rest of the car is mint. looks beast matt black interior looks neat. i like it

my thought exactly, i could never decide whether to put different arches on it or not, but i dont see me doing that unless i was to get it resprayed as the wholes would most likely be in different places hmm
i love mean looking stuff so i dont know :/
the GB headlining was in there when i bought the car, its been done very well although of center (you can see if you compare the red each side of the rear view mirror) but apart from that its very good mmmm leather :P

Would be worth more / appeal to a wider market it it was a gloss colour and you lost the bonnet pins.
The trim is nice, does oit still have the trim/tool pouch in the boot?

yes i agree, the bonnet pins are very annoying as they rust easily (on my second pair)
still got hinges BUT i have a front mounted radiator so i need something to hold the bonnet down :/

As many have said, I think gloss black would appeal to a much wider market if you sell it.....but it's your car. I do like it as it is though, but that's just me personally.

very true, but as stated before i like mean looking cars and thats me down to the bone BUT the red is fading and it is very worn on everything so all the interior needs to be replaced (a lot of rips)
i also miss shining up my car :'(

If the bonnet fitted better it would be perfect!

Hmm. I'd remove the front fogs and headliner....and maybe the under-riders. But the front could really use some more highlights, it's too dark in my opinion. Do you have another grill with the chrome around it? The rear looks great because of all the little accent pieces, if you could do something like that at the front it would look sweet!

It has the potential to look mean as hell!

to look mean i thought it had to be dark? hmm
thanks for the input :)
