he guys it doesn't really matter, it's good for my social life, when I drive my car for a couple hours I get to know lots of new (fuelstation-)people...

yeh you will have to plan your journeys along fuel station routes :-) to be honest i didnt care if i was getting 10 mpg it was all about the fun and enjoyment

something like this would work but my mini had a piece of pipe fitted to the tank breather and it and was coiled up. (maybe 500mm long) and make sure the end of the pipe is higher than the top of the tank. or fit one of the valves with a length of pipe on the end of it. either way its pretty dangerous driving it the way it is, the vapour from petrol is pretty explosive. plus you have to remember that should the worst happen and you roll the car, it wouldnt take long for the tank to empty.

Well I bought this one and mounted it, it doesn't leak at all, I did have a slight psssht when opening the fuell cap, guess that's normal.
