I take it you mean scuttle? If so no it was welded on but pinged half off on "inspection" haha. On the to do list.
Everything looks way off at the moment due to the supports the previous owner welded in aren't straight

It's not too bad to be honest, just annoying as I can't weld so it's something I have to wait for my mate to do haha

I saw that in your signature. If you weren't so far away i would be interested in a cage.

Maybe getting some bolt ins and weld in made up at a later date. Gives me a great benefit as it means mine is cheap due to being a "jig" excellent way to get a MSA approved at a fraction of the price haha

haha lovely! Trouble is my shell is 3 inches lower and i want it tied into the rear suspension so it will have to be custom.

Not much progress at the moment
Trying to source an engine and placed an order for £200 of CDS for the rollcage.
Also been helping prep the turbo saxo for French car show all added together with a trip to wembley next weekend and a holiday in 3 weeks.

I'd say it does suck but I'm looking forward to a much needed holiday! Worked my nads off for a promotion so it's my reward
Engine wise it's an early 1.4 that was fitted in the metro gti <94 found 2 at a good price but sellers are messing me about

Ok so the first thing is I went out and bought another shell! I couldn't miss out due to it being in such a good condition and for such a cheap price!! It has saved me a massive amount of time in welding/fabrication and I wasn't happy with the previous owners work.
And then here it is in my untidy garage
