Going to replace LCB and Y piece, the current Y piece exit is the same dia as the link pipe (rc40). I used a joining sleeve but its now blowing and hitting the floor pan.
The 2 rear tyres had gone flat in storage, so whipped them off to get them sorted.
Fitted a solar panel to trickle charge battery as there is no permanent electric supply. Hopefully that will keep it ticking over when its not in use as much.
Tax expired, so cant go far in it now. Time to do some work for next year......mount fuel pump underneath, tidy things up etc.

Now in parts......
*inner wings had to be bent to get the car right upto the doors, to give me enough room to drop the rear subframe out. Space is a premium in a 20ft shipping container which is allready full of gear.
Some pics of shell if anyone is interested?
Healboard solid and all 4 subframe bolts came out easily.
Note the battery box is abit bent. the wood frame wheel came off and all went flying, it will hammer back down.
Boot floor has previously been welded, made undoing the bolts abit awkward. had to grind/dress the edges of the weld to get spanner on.
Shell will be bare, but ill leave the rear window, rear side windows and boot lid if i find a buyer. No doors or bonnet. No windscreen.
Needs scuttle corners, flitch repairs (air vents rotten) and ofcourse a front end.
Has afew patches around the car as expected with age (1986). De-seamed rear bumper.
Got interior and wiring loom to strip out then its for sale, or goes to scrap man....

All the running gear is going into my other project, which is 100% rust free and will be a better car in the end. Its been good though, gunna miss the colour scheme.
