has anyone ever experimented with the length of inlet manifolds for single su carbs?

i was just wondering if it made any difference to torque when the inlet tract was lengthened and straightened out a little?

i bet vizzard has covered it, but i only have an old copy, and i dont think its in there?

There are certainly much improved manifolds around - but the length will make little difference. Try a long trumpet.......
