why do people when selling a mini decribe it sooooooooooooooooooooooooo far from the truth which wastes both buyer and sellers time???

was offered a mini equinox on saturday asked the norm questions, he said it needed a little tlc and a passanger seat! happy days ive got a pair of black classic buckets if i couldnt find a seat. 6 months mot 6 months tax rebuild engine with reciepts.

my main question was is there any rust on the body as i dont want to be painting the whole care due to lack of time..... his reply there is a small bubble on the bottom of the drivers door and a 50p size patch on the rear panel under the light!!!!

so when i turn up guess what...........................................

pile of crap. rotten under both lights, both corners of the scuttle, apanels, drivers door has more rust by the window then on the bottom, its has a very bad boot floor repair looks like its been in a bump and a 8 year old had welded it. needed 2 tyres and the alternator was gone!!!

other than that was a nice car lol

i left it there and the guy was wondering why i didnt buy it

I went to see one once and the seller said it was solid as a rock. I then proceeded to poke a hole in the rear valance as I checked it...

It is so stupid, if the buyer turns up expecting no rust and then see's loads they're not gonna buy it so what's the point of lying just to waste people's time :mmkay:

Let's face it, it's a Mini. If the seller says it needs TLC and only has one patch of rust there is always going to be loads more
