My Grandson, Cooperkid, is an apprentice at a Rolls-Bentley dealer and restoration specialist. He sure does some interesting work including work on a 1912 Silver Ghost and a 1929 Bentley le Mans car.
He even got to drive about 15 miles in a brand new Phantom Convertable with 600 bhp and was working on a Cessna aeroplane which the boss owns last week..

Can I wish you the very best of luck with this. It'll be simply great and you'll be learning to do something you love.

Sounds like your grandson has something great going on for him! I'd love to drive a Phantom convertible!

So would I. The only Roller I've driven was a Silver Shadow which my wife used to own (12 mpg on a good day). Before that I used to think that Rollers were driven slowly because they were driven by 'poseurs' and old men - now I know they are driven slowly because they are unsafe at speed! I think (hope) they have improved both road-holding & handling since the Silver Shadow.
