Evening all,

My car has really done one on me today, Iv had her running all day no problem at all. Just as I was about to go out tonight with my mates I noticed that the side lights and rear lights would not come on, then the indicators started playing up! The indicators give a random number of flashes then shut off. the indicator leaver has alot of play in it and I'm not sure if this is the problem. I was going to change the column over tomorrow but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Cheers Jack.

It'd help to know what year the car is. Have you got dash illumination? The column stalk won't effect the sidelights and isn't likely to the cause of the indicators if behaves the same indicating to both sides, and plays up with the car stationary (no bumps to jolt loose connections)
