High, to add some arches I'm going to have to cut into the body a little but how do I go about putting the lip back on the arch?
Kind regards.

Minispares do a kit for the wings for larger wheels.
WHEEL ARCH FRONT REINFORCEMENT FLANGE STIFFENING STRIP (ONE)

Description
These are required on the front wheel arches when fitting sportspack wheel arches. The flange on the standard wing has to be cut away to give clearance for 13" wheels and this is the replacement strip to stop the wing flexing. This is the standard part on the Sportspack car and supplied individualy. Pairs are available as HMP441029 which is cheaper so if stock shows of this number we are able to supply singles by splitting packs but at a greater cost owing to different supply channels--see Downloads on web site for diagrams on where to cut wings and A panels under part numbers VUR100180MS-VUR100190MS-VUR100200MS- VUR100210MS-VUR100220MS-VUR100230MS
£26.00 exc vat
£31.20 inc vat
If you want to do it yourself and can weld then you need to very carefully cut the flange off first. Cut back the wing to the amount you need. Make sure the edge is as clean as possible then you can tack weld the lip back on. One tack every inch or so. Then you can pulse weld an inch miss an inch and so on until the lip is on. Clean the welds up and then paint. Due to the cut out being larger than the original size you will have to add a bit of extra lip.
