Hello guys an girls

i was a member a few years ago when i ha my last mini , an now im getting back into them.
i currently dont own a mini but im going to start by buy the Engine (1098) , then fully rebuilding it to a race spec.

i might nee some advice on this!!!!

got the go ahead for the engine now so will be picking it up in the next few days .

welcome back, ive never heard of an1198 before. what sort of spec are you going to build it to, Forced induction? etc

Halfords professional stuff is generally very good, we've got some spanners and sockets from them that have been in daily use for 20 - 30 years and are still fine, and still have a lifetime guarnantee! I think their new stuff still comes with a lifetime one too :)
