Hi guys

I bought a MGB Manifold from eBay after finding out that some of you modified them so you can fit them on Minis.

Can I ask how do you go by doing this? best place to cut, etc?

I rekon the manifold angle / carb face is set wrong for a mini installation? TBC.

I saw a post by BMCeccose saying he modified a MGB manifold to fit, and yes, I know about the float angles are set wrong, I've sorted that out.

That was 40+ years ago.!!!..yes, I just cut a section out of the cross tube, and joined it with a rubber pipe and two jub clips.

Thanks for that to save taking my current carb out am I able to use the spare 998 to measure how big the manifold needs to be? or is it a different size on the 1275....if that makes any sense.

inlet and exshast ports are spaced the same on 1275 and 998 so you could use the 998 head to measure from
