Where Does This Washer Come From?

Hello,

We are rebuilding the clutch after replacing the primary gears for straight cut drop gears. Now we can't place this washer:

Can somebody tell us quickly where this comes from?

Thats the oil thrower plate from under the timing cover, shouldn't even be anywhere near the clutch so leave it out.

Oh yeah, we put on a new chain and timing gear aswell... so it's from that side then..

No problem at all, best get the timing cover removed and refit the oil thrower plate.

Interesting wear marks on that thrower, looks like its been rubbing on the chain or the housing..not the best if I'm honest.

Make sure you fit the thrower the right way round, otherwise the timing cover will inevitably leak.
