hey guys im new to this so im nt sure what this is but my clutch wont disengage and the pedal feels light. im pretty sure this rod (the picture below) supposed to move when i press the clutch but its not moving... help me :( do i need a new clutch? it weas working fine before its just that its bin 2 weeks since ive driven it.

is there fluid in the clutch master cylinder?............if there is then the clutch slave cylinder has probably had it, they are only about £25 ish new.

I agree. It seems to me that the slave cylinder is leaking, as it looks very wet in the picture, and is probably the only fault.

You definitely do not need a new clutch, which I am sure will be good news. At the very worst, it might need any of the following: slave cylinder, master cylinder, flexible hose, short rigid pipe, which is the full extent of the clutch hydraulics, all external to the engine, and accessible.

yes i think your right when i push the rod in it squirts out clutch fluid from the seal. shuld i replace the clutch slave or just the rubber seals? is this job hard to do ive never done it before?

how much would it cost roughly for this to be done by a garage?
