I'm on a budget >.<

Rather than buy a new hazard switch, could someone tell me which colour pins do what (or which wires do what on the connector) so that I can use a continuity tester to test the switch OR just use a piece of wire to bridge a connection.

If so that would save me spending £15 on a new switch and waiting a few days for it to turn up.

Bottom 2 pins connect when it's off, top 4 all connect each other (& disconnect the bottom 2) for on.

So if I bridge the bottom 2 sockets, the indi's should work.

If I bridge all 4 top ones together with a piece of metal, hazards should flash.

Right?

Yes, don't forget you need the ignition on for indicators.

Indicators: the 2 light green wires

Hazards:

light green / pink - from haz flasher
green / white - right lights
green / red - left lights
green / light green - tell tale (loops back to the switch's illum, little spade on the side)
