I've use cat litter with some good results. grind it into the stain and leave it for a good while, then wash away.

I've just been out doing this on my drive with some path and driveway cleaner from Wilkos and it's worked a treat. it proper fizzed up when it hit the bricks, which is usually a good sign...!

Sprinkle soap powder onto oil and a few drops of water to make a paste and leave over night..... :proud:

loads of washing up liquid, the good stuff..( fairy liquid ). and boiling hot water from the kettle, worked on mine. :D
