hey guys

I'm going for bright yellow for my estate! Anyone know any nice bright yellows? (preferably from cool cars so no seicento yellow :w00t: )

suggestions so far include old MG Inca yellow and new MG Trophy yellow!

Thanks guys!

I know you don't want to hear it, but Siecento yellow is the best. I had my TR6 done in (then) cinquecento yellow and it was fabulous.

Yellow has to be an "in your face" colour, or it just looks wishy-washy. Or worse, it looks like sick! Too orange and it starts to look like girly pink. Too green and it looks like someone got the mix wrong.

Trust me, go Fiat, and call it Ferrari yellow. It probably is!

is it something like this your looking for
Posted Image

It is a Yellow with a red through it, which gives a nice vibrant colour ..

If so I'll have a look through the paint swatches and see what i can find..

or in this pic you can see the fade through to red

try saffon yellow, i did a bedford rascal van in that colour and it looked ace, also the yellow that LDV vans are painted in is quite a good yellow.

What Sy didn't mention is that picture was his very first mini..... hehehe

It looks gorgeous in the pics, I can assure you he looked a long time to get hold of the 'right colour'.

I agree with Pikey, it's a good yellow, they probably did use it on the Ferrari as well, but you'll be paying a hell of a lot less for it....!!! :w00t:

Although I love Balamory, I'd rather not have my CE painted the same colour as Edie McCredie's van :w00t:

Considering Seicento Yellow  unfortunatly
