hey...just met up with a guy gonna buy a 1980 mini minor 2nd hand...... since im not so much of an expert on cars (and hoping i wont be made fun of)...maybe ayone could point out what money I can spend for a good restoration- check list or anything else...

had a budget of 2500- 3000e ........will be buying the car for 1100e

Hi..and welcome to TMF and enjoy.....I see your in Euro land..........2-3e should see a good result........but its not a lot....I spent £8000 on my resto and I did all the metal work accept the final spray job then I put the whole car back together..........see link
