If you check out the Ultimate Mini dvd () there is one on there with 2 R1 engines in the back, It had 2 gear levers next to one another and you pulled both at the same time (they did also seem to move independantly)
Guess yours would be the same just with a 180 degree loop back to make the cables go in the same direction.

This Mini was a bit more complicated than it looks - both engines feed into the same power distribution box - I can't remember the details offhand, but it was such that it allowed the two engines to be in different gears and at different (non sync'd) throttle settings with no issues. It's the same set-up Zeds used on their twin-engined Tiger Z100 set-up. Your set-up is more like the systejm they did for the Twin engined turbo Hayabusa Ultima - one enge running the front wheels, one running the rear. Sync'ing of drive was dobe by monitoring wheels speed and wheel slip front and rear) and adjsuting teh throttle-by-wire throttles independantly....it uses a Motec system to do all this IIRC. I'd love to see you do something like this to make the car more driveable vs a brute force "Twini" set-up. A lot of ECUs can measured wheel-spin and electronically control throttles these days (Motec, Pectel, ViPec)...might be worthwhile checking out.
