Is it a carb Mini or fuel injected? what model is it?

If it's a carb Mini, when you start it on a morning, does it need any choke? and when it's warmed up does it run okay?

its a carb chelsea. yes it needs choke and once running runs fine and idles fine. however, say for example i turned it off after a 10 minute drive and then let it sit for 5 it would then really struggle to start. it seems that when starting its reluctant to fire initially so the starter has to turn it for a while before firing.

thanks

Probably flooded with excess fuel. Check the float valve in the carb.
