I am timing in an MG Metro cam using the DTI method and have found that when set up dot-to-dot as a starting point I am getting max lift at 113'. Is there a definitive rule as to the optimum timing for this cam? I've been searching and found recommendations ranging from 106' (AC Dodd) to 112' (apparently Vizard). Even factory numbers differ depending on the source. Does anyone have a definitive answer?

Thanks

James

EDIT: I have found that the Kent 'copy' of the MG Metro profile has now been renamed from 500 to 450 and has a recommended timing of 110' but Leyland was reportedly quoting 108'.

All my MG metro cams are timed in at 110. Works ok for me, but I've never had the chance to play about with it on a dyno.
