Hi Guys,

Just in the process of planning out my next mini project and I intend on de-seeming the whole car including the roof and smoothing it in. However I would like to do the car old english white with a black roof. Do you think that the car would look weird for starters having a black roof and no seem to differentiate between the main body and the roof or do you think it would look ok? Also how do you think the best way of marking it out for spraying accurately would be after the seem has gone? Do you think to try and make a template somehow from the roof before the seem is removed?

Just thought I would get your thoughts! :proud:

If it was two tone, with the join around the waistline, then it'd look ok. Having a different roof colour with no seams for the boundaries would look weird imo.

Yeah having a different colour roof on a de-seamed mini kinda takes away the point of having it de-seamed in my opinion
