I want an old mill or something similar so I can convert into a house and garage. Garage downstairs and living quarters upstairs. Ideally being able to look over my balcony/kitchen and look at the cars below. I can dream.... Bit of a waste really as a mini takes up so little space.
A friend of mine's dad, back in Thailand, bought an old show room to store all her families cars in. It even had the servicing department in it but unfortunately the previous owner unbolted the lifts and took them out. She has been allocated one corner of it by her dad to keep her mx5 and ducatti in.
My parent's garage is ideal except for the minor inconvenience of having both their cars in it and trailer. Big double garage with an inspection pit in it and a small workshop built into the corner. Brilliant when its cold as you can put the heater on and not have to heat up the whole garage. Double wall as well so its got insulation.
I don't know if I would really want my car on display. Is kind of an invitation to thieves as they know where your car is.
