I am trying to go back to the original (very simple) setup for my Mk. 1 which has been retro fitted with a much later cowl and switchgear. I believe the early cars didn't have the column lock/ignition switch and fancy stalk switchgear, but were there changes made to later columns to accommodate those fittings?
