Number 51 or 84 in the above link = Part Number: SH604051 - SET SCREW-1/4" UNF x 5/8"

Screw, not a bolt.

Yes - my feeling was 1/4" UNF.......but wasn't sure enough to post up! Why do you need longer?

I am fitting the final part of interior from an alfa in a mini.i am probably going abit overkill on the seat mountings.better to be safe than mangled against the front screen!

A longer screw won't make any difference, unless the bracket is thicker. There's still the same thread in the captive nut inside the box section.

I am putting 40mm box section to the face of cross member and will be using the 4 bolt holes to attach.so the seat base runners can then bolt through the top of the box section (hopefully!)
