[Mini-Wet]

Hello all..

Last night i bought a 1989 Mini Mayfair Old English White... It's condition is not amazing and i want to know the best things to do to make this car at it's best again..

Any answers would be greatly appreciated

IMHO it looks beautiful. Not much work really from looking at it.

i would like a new dash and i want all the connections looking at as they are abit loose..I am restoring the old seats and taking these bucket seats out... probably have new wheels as well...

Many many thins you can do from check every bit of the body work for rust and sort that put, go over the mechanical make sure there isn't any rust, no broken bits, torn or worn rubbers. Go over the wiring loom, again make sure it's clean and you havnt got an broken wires or connectors, tidy it up a little.
And then the engine, give it a good clean good service could always flush it through. The list are endless.

Hiya mate, my mini is my first mini and first car as well. That looks sweet!! there isn't much that I wouldn't change. I love the seats, and if they're what I think they are, I want a set myself. As your first car, just make sure that everything you do is insurance friendly!!
