Seriously why is it acceptable to stand someone up?
I was hoping on having a enjoyable weekend in the sunshine with a supposed special (in more ways than one it appears) lady friend and also help take my mind off losing my job a week back.

But nope, i've been stood up twice. Been planning on meeting for the past week to go see a movie, look round some shops, bite to eat etc, etc. was even on the phone for 3 hours. So come Saturday I get a phone call from her confirming eveythings still on and to be meeting her as planned in an hour. Great I head off and wait, and wait and wait, her phone rings but no answer, so I gave up and looked round at the places I wanted and came home.

Then today I get a call from her saying she couldn't meet as the car wouldn't start because of an oil leak, plus it was apparently raining. Having been around and working on cars for the last 10 or so years you have to be pretty good to BS me with that excuse. It's a good job and oil leak doesn't stop a mini from staring or none of them would run.

Still I gave her the option of meeting me again today at mine and go together to save the hassle of parking and finding each other. I wasn't holding out much hope to be honest and it turns out I was right, so in a way I have my answer. I'm just dieing to hear the BS excuse this time, closely followed by telling her were to go.

But what I can't get is why bother texting, emailing and calling each other for hours at a time over a period of a few months, arrange to meet and....

Take it from someone who has not only bought the T -shirt but also burnt the book! unless the girl you meet makes your heart pound and your stomach swirl, Cannot do any wrong and never lets you down for the first 6 months then it will not work in the long term.
Ditch and move on.

Any girl who lies and deceives will always do so. just in better and better ways that you hardly notice until one day you realise its too late.

If no girl can do this? then its time to look inside and think about what you really want.
