I'm not going to reply to this thread any further as DILLIGAF seems to think he knows everything and the rest of us know nothing. He simply can't seem to read what was said by others and just wants to 'nit-pick' and be silly.

Similar to my post on another thread. Key his user name into google and you will see what kind of person we are dealing with.

You don't need Google he is a pratt, i thought i was sarcastic in a nice way, but this fella wins hands down for plonker of the year
no chance of him getting silver or bronze

I don't know why you feel the need to be taking a 'pop' at me. I said they CAME OFF AN MGA AND WERE MODIFIED TO FIT A MINI. Let me repeat, they CAME OFF of an MGA.
First you have a go at me for explaining how do do a calculation to establish gearing comparisons with different wheels and tyres, telling me I'm wrong and now you get pedantic about this as well. Do you really think I don't know about float chamber angles on a Mini?
Did I do something to offend you. If I did then please tell me what.

LOL what makes you think I was having a go at you, all I'm doing is offering the benefit of my experience. If some not so knowledgeable person on this forum wastes there money buying a set of MGA carbs. Then found that they had wasted there money, would you not feel bad about that ? I certainly would if I had said they'd work................

This looks very very familiar dill do , so i am not the only one you are having a go at, i dont know why we dont start a post to get RID of you

Well I have been running twin HIF 38s for a couple of years now. It's entirely possible to fabricate the necessary linkage which is what I did, and used two standard 38s. Theres probably several ways to do it, this is a bit agricultural but works fine.

Some posters are best ignored Cooperman, anyway back to carbs. I've got 2 NOS HS4s. One has a black main jet and t'other a red. Does anyone know what the difference of these main jets is? Which colour main jet do I need for a twin HS4 set up on my 1380?
