All I can Say is WOW . My Coop was juried into the Founders Class, not a judged class, but a class for exceptional cars that didn't fit into the other classes. Only 5 were shown, I was in very good company, a 1991 Porche Carrera 4 a 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS a 1978 Alfa Romero Spider Conv and a 1982 Alfa Romero Balocca Saloon.

The cars were displayed on the lawns of the former officers houses was perfect, being as the temperature reached nearly 100 degrees, the trees provided great shade. The Cooper created loads and loads on interest and was photographed all day.

European cars were very well represented and each had their own class. Triumph Austin, Morgan Rolls Royce Austin Healey Lotus and a 1955 Jag XK 140 MC won Best in Show.

Photos later once we've processed them
Oh and just for fun there was a costume competition for the owners, I dressed as The Queen and Top Gear kindly sent The Stig over to be my Bodyguard/Chauffer lol we took 2 place

Congrats. I know what you mean. Saturday I was at an event parked next to a Lotus Exige, a Carerra Gt, an LT1 Vette, a one off 2012 Camero Firebird and a Mustang KR and everyone was swarming the Mini. Even had two magazines take pics and asked to do a photo shoot.

Feels kinda cool.

It certainly felt great, when people were waiting their turns to photograph Mr. Bridger.
I have some photos of the day but I will have to downsize them for posting on here

Hahah that's awesome.

Some people dress in period clothing when they drive classic cars, some dress up like the Queen of England.

Now wheres my tiara...I need to go for a drive.
