It is worth buying if you can get/make the correct size box, i doubt it would fit in the boot of a mini, because i can only just squeeze a 12" in, and that is 3 inches bigger!!!!!!

If you don't use the correct box with the right amount of airspace it will sound C**p, and distort before full bass is given!!!

But vibe subs are very very good, and i would recommend a 12" if you can squeeze one in, but i did have a 10" one at one point, and it sounded better than the 12" QXS i have got in at the minute!!

Rich.

If it did fit into the boot of a mini, you could do something similar to what philster has done, and mount it 'free air' onto the back of the rear seats. Which is what i am thinking about doing, as i am not over happy with the configuration i have got at the minute. You need to mount a really thick board to the back of the seats to mount it on, and drill a hole for some air to escape into the back of the seats.

im getting rid of the back seats and making an angled box type thing that fills up all the old seat area, do you reckon it will fit? im not cutting the seat area off though :D

Yeah if you don't need the rear seat, a 15 will fit quite easily along with any amps you want.

Nice sub mate. Im a fan of vibe stuff, ive got a vibe 10ich with build in amp thing, bass is well impressive for a 10.

Good luck on the rear build! Should look v nice.!

15`s are only really if you just want massive SPL, to power the vibe 15 i recommend a Vibe Black Box 2 amplifier, 300W RMS bridged.

Im sticking to a 10 inch sub in mine, it sounds much more punchy as there is less air for the cone to physically move, its much better if you listen to dance music

J :D
